

WSP provides engineering, design, and consulting services across diverse sectors worldwide.
The engineer will support technical aspects of design projects, project management, and proposal development, focusing on stormwater, dredging, wetland restoration, and permitting.
Key responsibilities include conducting both field and office tasks, developing water quality, hydrologic, and groundwater models, preparing water budgets, and understanding structural components related to water resources improvements.
The engineer will prepare erosion and sediment control plans, use CAD to create design plans, construction bid and permitting documents, and provide construction‑phase services. Collaboration with staff in a team environment and adherence to the company's "Beyond Zero" safety program are required.
Basic qualifications include a BS in Engineering, 5‑7 years of design experience, an EI, and progress toward a PE license. Required skills are water‑resources engineering, environmental and water‑quality modeling, AutoCAD, familiarity with Florida hydrology and climate‑change issues, proficiency with ICPR and HEC models, strong communication, attention to detail, cost control, scheduling, risk management, mentorship of junior staff, and the ability to travel within Florida. Candidates must pass a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
