Field duties include a range of restoration activities such as pack outs, on‑location cleaning, content processing and deodorization, upholstery and carpet cleaning, storage handling, water mitigation, microbial remediation, structural board‑up, security, and proper chemical handling. The technician also manages and supervises temporary labor, documents content condition with photographs, completes required paperwork, and maintains cleaning and storage areas to professional standards.
The role participates in BluSky’s emergency mitigation on‑call rotation, delivers the highest level of customer service, adheres to company best practices, and performs any additional duties or projects as assigned.
The work environment is generally quiet, and reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities. Employees may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and are regularly required to sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and walk around the office.
The Contents Technician is an integral part of the BluSky Team skilled in the completion of complex contents cleaning tasks. They are responsible for duties that relate to cleaning both residential and commercial contents.
Candidates must be able to follow instructions, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient with computers and handheld devices. They should work well with subcontractors and employees, be self‑starting, and demonstrate strong organizational and planning abilities.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Travel is minimal, less than 10 % of the time, though occasional out‑of‑area or overnight travel may be needed for training or meetings.
