What you would be doing

  • Operations Oversight: Manage all aspects of stock control, activities, including goods-in, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Reporting: Report on picking discrepancies, shortages, and other relevant operational issues.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise dispatch and office staff, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Organise and coordinate deliveries, transport schedules, and liaise with drivers.
  • Inventory & Stock: Monitor stock levels, manage goods in and out, and ensure order accuracy.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure the warehouse and dispatch areas are clean, tidy, and meet safety and hygiene standards.
  • Customer & Supplier Relations: Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers and communicate updates on orders and deliveries.
  • Adhere to Company Health & Safety working practices and legislative regulations
  • Perform the job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, especially the Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy.

  • Proficiency in dispatch paperwork and admin is desirable.
