Principal Geologist

• Varied and Challenging Projects - From Phase 1 and 2 site investigations to remediation and earthwork design, you'll tackle a wide array of geotechnical and geo-environmental challenges.

• Expertise in geology, phase 1 and 2 site investigations, report writing, remediation, earthwork design, and foundation design.
• Experience with borehole investigations and the ability to supervise construction works, including inspecting foundations and drilling/grouting of mine workings.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the geotechnical/geo-environmental field.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, regulators, and site staff.
• Proficiency in preparing coal mining risk assessments, earthworks strategies, and verification reports.
• A strong Degree or Masters in Geology, Geography, or Civil Engineering.
• Working towards professional development with the Geological Society, Institution of Civil Engineers, or a similar professional body.
• Ability to advise on geotechnical parameters for foundation design and slope stability.
