Epstein is seeking a Senior Design Engineer (Transportation) to join our Civil Engineering team. The ideal candidate is a proactive and self-driven professional with strong experience specific to transportation (IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, municipalities) and roadways. This position requires candidates to design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements, application codes and standards.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills
  • 5+ years of successful design experience within a consulting engineering firm
  • Knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation or Illinois Tollway design standards, procedures and specifications is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microstation, including CONNECT and Open Roads Design is required
  • Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of design
Benefits

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually.
