Work as part of a project team to deliver cost effective, manufacturable designs
Works with Electrical Engineers and Drafting to produce customer drawings
Works with Sales and potentially the customer to resolve requirements
Designing and developing electro mechanical equipment
Reviews and evaluates sales order requirements\specifications to configure and\or develop solutions
Approves project release to Manufacturing

Works with Sales and Applications Engineering
Provide updates on project status and timeline

Experience with development, design and engineering of mechanical\electrical systems using both 2Dand 3D CAD software (Creo preferred)
Knowledge in noise attenuation (fan silencers)
Customer interfacing experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required

Experience with casting, compressors, pumps and/or motors
5+ years in some of the following:
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience
Experience with OEM design activities
Understanding of seismic, wind and vibration calculations
Electrical testing experience
Experience with bill of materials (BOMs)
