Description

• Support the coordination and scheduling of proposal activities
• Support the pre-construction team with proposal efforts.
• Evaluate bids received from subcontractors
• Maintain and update the department’s unit rate and lead time tracker
• Responsible for take-offs for assigned divisions of work
• Organizing and saving proposal documents
• Conduct research and compile statistical reports.
• Coordinate and arrange meetings and events, including preparing agendas, reserving, and preparing facilities, and transcription of meeting minutes.
• Solicit bids from subcontractor using our web based platform
• Assist in coordinating proposal and bid package information or the coordination of document release. May help coordinate tracking bid status, vendor relations, and meeting minutes.
• Assist in composing and processing routine correspondence.
• Calling and engaging with subcontractors during the proposal phase.
• Create and maintain departmental electronic files, forms, and brochures.
• Maintain and update the department’s proposal processes

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Writing scopes of work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
