

Pacesetter in turnkey engineering, construction, maintenance, turnaround and fabrication for industrial sectors.
The role is responsible for all maintenance work activities within the assigned plant area, coordinating, overseeing, and directing maintenance work, improvement projects, and production support activities in line with Zachry Maintenance Group policies, procedures, and practices.
The position requires off‑hours and overtime support as needed and serves as the primary information hub for the area, communicating regularly with the unit Maintenance Superintendent and site management.
Daily responsibilities include attending the 6:30 unit update meeting, interfacing with client representatives, documenting delays, and assisting the foreman with safety meetings, schedule updates, work order confirmation, employee training coordination, toolbox topics, weekly head counts, Smart Focus crew tracking, call‑out log monitoring, and various meeting and report tasks.
The role provides direction and support to Craft Foremen, evaluates personnel capabilities, helps set career paths, and coaches supervisors to improve performance. A strong understanding of plant maintenance processes and OSHA health, safety, and environmental regulations is required.
Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree in Business Management or Management Development preferred. Required skills encompass communication, organization, leadership, team‑building, interpersonal relations, conflict and client/labor relations, and proficiency with computers, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications.
