The primary function of the ATS Copper Installer is to perform assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub‑assemblies and final ATS equipment, and to verify the electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
In this role you will construct, assemble, and repair layout copper, install and fabricate copper to accommodate customer connections, ensure copper connections are properly braced and clearance requirements are met, install and wire electrical devices according to the bill of material and schematics, and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. The company does not provide immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance; candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location, except for active‑duty military members.
Preferred qualifications are prior experience working with copper.
Position criteria require the ability to lift 35 lb overhead, at the waist, and on the shoulder, a proven history of safe work habits, the capability to work independently without direct supervision, basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office and internet use, and willingness to work overtime on weekdays and weekends.
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking an ATS Copper Installer. The position pays $19.50 per hour and core work hours are from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Salary guidelines are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market and business considerations.
