You will be a leading advocate of Mace's value of Safety First, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and compliance standards for the design resources you manage.

Expertise in delivering different typologies and complexities.
Excellent knowledge of the construction and consultancy industries.

Post graduate qualifications (MA, MSc, PGD etc) (or equivalent).
Demonstrable building safety competence for Higher Risk Buildings.
Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and writing skills.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) record of continual learning/development.
Excellent knowledge & application of design management systems, design risk management and mitigation, prefabrication/ build strategies. Business planning and communication. Good knowledge of all design disciplines.
You will possess advanced technical expertise in local Health and Safety rules and regulations relevant to project portfolio.
Good knowledge of Building Safety legislation, Building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments and Health & Safety legislation.
Membership of RIBA,MICE,CIBSE,CIOB, RICS, CIAT or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Strong technical knowledge to challenge projects/design/proposals.
Ability to delegate, lead others, take initiative and make appropriate decisions.
Membership professional body (RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT).
Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of Building Safety legislation, Building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments and Health & Safety legislation.
Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
Deep construction and consultancy expertise.
