Manage and lead 5‑6 territories in New Jersey while providing guidance to senior management in developing long‑term strategic plans and annual goals. Promote timely, profitable service delivery that exceeds quality and customer‑satisfaction standards, and uphold market leadership by fostering staff development and continuously improving business processes.
The General Manager works across multiple locations, including office settings, customer sites, and the shop where vehicles and equipment are maintained. Responsibilities include reviewing project progress, inspecting completed work, and traveling to meet clients.
- Ensure objectives of the strategic plan are achieved through effective implementation and ongoing refinement.
- Exceed company targets for sales, COGS, direct labor, net profit, liquidity, cash flow, quality ratings, and customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to maintain production capacity through adequate staffing, equipment, and supplies.
- Achieve consistency in implementing operating systems by working with the Operations Manager.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with professional advisors such as accountants, attorneys, bankers, and consultants.
- Provide expert recommendations concerning investment and cash strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, and local taxes.
- Maintain integrity of vendor and customer files, documents, and communications.
- Collaborate with the Sales/Marketing Manager on development and distribution of sales, marketing, and publicity materials.
- Supervise preparation of the annual report summarizing short‑ and long‑range plan progress.
- Direct preparation of the annual budget and evaluate variance reports regularly.
- Participate actively in trade associations, community events, charitable initiatives, and other organizations.
- Set long‑term and short‑term direction for the company.
