Asphalt Groundperson

Description

• Follow MSHA and H&K safety policies while performing all work.
• Maintain plant equipment and keep work areas—including catwalks and walk‑ways—clean.
• Learn plant functions, acquire necessary knowledge, and take direction from site personnel.
• Cross‑train on all plant jobs to provide substitution when needed.
• Fit test and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

Chalfont Asphalt, a division of Naceville Materials JV, is seeking an Asphalt Groundperson who is safety focused, action oriented, detail attentive, and excels at teamwork.

• Hold a high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience/training.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Preferably have 3+ months related experience, especially loader operation.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and working in a quarry or heavy civil construction environment.
• Possess MSHA or other relevant safety certification (preferred).
