We're seeking an experienced MEP-focused Superintendent to oversee building systems upgrades within NYCHA and public housing rehabilitation projects across New York City. This role centers on field-first leadership, coordinating all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and low-voltage scopes while working within occupied and unoccupied residential buildings. If you're a steady, solutions-oriented MEP Superintendent who excels in occupied housing environments and thrives on complex building-systems coordination, we'd love to connect.
- OSHA 30 required; 62-hour SST Supervisor strongly preferred; FDNY F-01, S-12, S-13, or similar credentials a plus
- Deep understanding of building systems construction: heating and hot water systems, electrical distribution, plumbing risers, sprinkler systems, fire alarm, and low-voltage work
- Proficiency in DOB processes, third-party inspections, MEP testing and commissioning, and multi-trade coordination in existing occupied buildings
- Familiarity with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar field management tools
- Experience managing tenant-in-place MEP work, building access coordination, resident notifications, and controlled shutdowns
- 7+ years of field experience as a Superintendent or MEP Superintendent, with strong NYCHA, HPD, HDC, or public housing rehabilitation exposure
