The Scheduling Manager provides technical assistance in creating and updating CPM schedules throughout all project phases, from concept to closeout, and may contribute to proposal‑level schedules. As Sundt's in‑house scheduling expert, they coordinate schedule creation and updates with project teams, conduct peer reviews, and customize Primavera reports to align with the Sundt Way.
The role involves integrating design changes, analyzing schedule performance for claims, managing resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials, and leading schedule review meetings during proposal, baseline, and update phases. The manager also develops proposal‑phase schedules using information from estimators and ensures compliance with Sundt policies and project specifications.

- Ensure project schedules follow Sundt Way policies and meet specification requirements.
- Create and deliver online or in‑person Primavera P6 training classes.
- Supervise staff, provide performance feedback, identify training needs, and conduct on‑the‑job training and development reviews.
- Set up new jobs and schedule templates within the Primavera system.
- Facilitate cross‑functional teams and build strong relationships at all organizational levels.
- Communicate business objectives clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Work independently, manage multiple projects, and resolve confrontational situations while keeping teams focused.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend.

Candidates must demonstrate strong facilitation and leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and at least five years of experience with SureTrak/P3/P5/P6 and seven to ten years of construction scheduling experience. They should be self‑directed, analytical, proficient with Microsoft Office and Visio, and capable of handling multiple projects with minimal supervision.
