Manage and handle project data effectively within the SPPID environment.
Perform global validation checks to maintain the integrity of the design database.
Adhere to and implement the established tagging philosophy for all components.
Collaborate closely with project leads and engineers to understand P&ID requirements and ensure the final output from SPPID meets project specifications.
Understand and resolve data inconsistencies, including checking for duplicate tag numbers and implementing corrections as per P&ID markups.
Develop and maintain P&IDs for power plant projects using SPPID, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
Extract various lists and reports from the software to support engineering and design activities.
Create and manage software tickets to address any technical issues or required modifications.
Assign appropriate materials to components within the P&IDs.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of five years of hands-on design experience using SPPID software.
Proven experience in either Power Plant or Oil and Gas projects is required.
Proficiency in data handling, including correcting inconsistencies, checking global validations, and extracting lists.
Solid understanding of P&ID development and tagging philosophy.
Experience in assigning materials in P&ID and creating software tickets for issue resolution.
Advanced understanding and practical experience with SPPID software.
