Tasks

-Document and verify planned operations to ensure safety and provide guidance on weather limitations, loads, and risks. -Analyse offshore cable installation projects, including cable laying, pull-in analysis, joint overboarding, spooling operations, crane operations, and fatigue analysis. -Train junior engineers and collaborate with various departments and external customers. -Travel to the site in Karlskrona during the introduction phase. -Develop Python software tools to interface with OrcaFlex and improve analysis methodology.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of cross-section analysis tools such as Helica or Uflex. -Proficiency in OrcaFlex and Python. -A Master's degree in Ocean Engineering or a similar field. -Experience with offshore standards from DNVGL. -Minimum 2+ years of experience in offshore engineering, in installation or in-place analysis of flexible products.
