Description

The Community Maintenance Associate ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained, keeping grounds, amenities, and curb appeal up to standards while supporting service team members. This role involves daily inspections, litter removal, minor service requests, lock changes, and communication distribution to residents.

• Inspect community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping common areas neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transport to dumpster/storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with unit turn processes.
• Change locks according to policy and verify pool gate operation meets safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Requirements

Employees must hold a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart and must follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including OSHA training and prompt incident reporting. Regular safety meetings and hazard reporting are required.
