Perform layout for various construction activities.
Assist with placing and finishing to ensure successful concrete pours.
Set, align and verify the correct placement of forms for footings, walls, columns, and decks.
Lead installation of building components, such as doors, windows, and interior systems.
Maintain company tools and equipment in good working and safe order.
Work with pipe laborers and operators on underground piping, process piping, and process equipment.

Requirements

General layout skills and basic math skills required.
Experience with pile driving and sheet piling a plus.
Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
Must be able to safely work with sharp tools and/or power equipment.
Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Experience in the construction industry as a carpenter or carpenter assistant.
Some blueprint reading may be required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
