Collaborate / support production engineering in relation to the recording of specified times, creation of welding sequence plans, definition of improvement measures
Train or monitor the welders and fitters in relation to drawing specifications, pre-heating, welding sequence, welding parameters and joint geometry and designing root, intermediate and final runs (sand the built-up structure).
Joint responsibility for the storage of additional materials, welding machine use or required equipment
Support in Operative implementation and further development of test instructions and quality standards within MF-AUR, focussing on the welding supervisors
Inspect and monitor the operational planning & performance of trainee welders
Evaluate the welders work samples against specifications.
Give Technical & practicle welding training to welders as per the specification & requirements. Carry out periodic review for welders work samples. Re-train the non performing welders in training school.
