Description

Submission Preparation

• Maintain strong industry relationships to support business development efforts.
• Prepare or refine technical write-ups, methodologies, and project execution strategies with the Technical Team.
• Facilitate risk workshops and document mitigation strategies as required
• Upload relevant management documentation to internal portals
• Manage tender documentation, clarifications, addenda, and compliance requirements.
• Support contractual review of tender documents
• Manage drafting, editing, formatting, and quality assurance of submissions.
• Collaborate with estimators to review costing, rates, quantities, and pricing assumptions.
• Assist in preparing cost breakdowns, pricing schedules, and risk allowances.
• Ensure tender submissions are delivered on time and meet all specifications.
• Liaise with Procurement Dept to make sure competitive, compliant quotations are received in time
• Identify technical, commercial, and operational risks associated with the bid.
• Support the Site Teams in post tender queries or concerns about the Tender
• Assist Estimators in analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and post-tender negotiations.
• Provide thorough handovers to project delivery teams after contract award.
• Oversee the preparation of submission tender documents.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the tender period.
• Analyze tender opportunities and recommend bid/no-bid decisions.
• Organize and lead tender kick-off meetings including timelines and discuss resource internal plans.
• Support negotiations, clarifications, and value-engineering discussions.
• Develop tender strategies aligned with Client requested requirements.
• Coordinate design, production, and delivery of final tender packages.
• Ensure that risk allowances and contingencies are adequately included.
• Lead and coordinate the entire tender process from initial invitation to final submission.
• Work with engineering, design, HSE, quality, project delivery, and commercial teams to collect and consolidate inputs.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in tendering, estimating, or pre-construction roles within the construction industry
• Strong Client engagement and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and procurement.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• High-level written & verbal communication skills (English) and document preparation capability.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Track record in Tender management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in tender management and estimating software (e.g.CCS).
