Lead design, development, and release of brake system components (calipers, rotors, boosters, master cylinders, brake lines, ABS, and ESC systems).
Develop and execute validation plans, including laboratory and vehicle-level testing.
Support root cause analysis and resolution of brake system issues during development and post-launch.
Coordinate with purchasing, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet program timelines and cost targets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Work with suppliers to ensure component designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.
Manage engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and DFMEA/DVP&R.
Analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend design changes as needed.

Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) for component design and packaging.

Hands-on experience with vehicle brake testing at proving grounds.
Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, and other automotive development tools.
3–5 years of experience in brake system engineering or related automotive systems.
Knowledge of brake system performance simulation tools.
Familiarity with validation and testing methods for brake systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Experience with ABS, ESC, and regenerative braking systems.
Familiarity with ISO and FMVSS brake regulations.
