Optimize design for energy efficiency and various performance strategies using physical modeling or simulation tools and providing technical expertise and guidance to team members and mentoring new engineers.
Champions innovative solutions for High power LV inverter/DC-DC Converter topologies, Switching methods and control, HV/LV gate driver, isolated and isolated design and HV/LV protection; Filters and magnetics design and solid-state device selection.
Develop engineering tools and continuously improves operational efficiency.
Leads project level deliverables in High-Speed Communication Circuits, and Digital and Analog Controls, I/O Interface Circuits and Control Hardware.
Generate a pipeline of high quality ideas/ solutions within a short time frame that outperforms the competition on performance, packaging, reliability and cost.
The individual will be responsible for developing high power density product designs involving electrical / power electronics / hardware design and interface designs from End-to-end.
Writes and maintains product specifications and functional specifications of design solutions for product to meet performance, functional safety and reliability.

Experience in following tools - MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice/ LT Spice/ Simetrix, PSIM/SABER
Experience in hardware system design including end to end product development involving analog & digital circuit design with 16/32 /64 bit microcontroller based designs, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing, launch support
Knowledge of Reliability for Embedded system Design
Excellent stakeholder management skills - global/ local and various sub-functions (sales, PSM, SCM, Manufacturing, engineering)
Experience in Analyzing and simulating power electronics systems including, analog, logical, and digital electronics. Leverages use of Hardware in the Loop simulation systems
Skilled at conflict management, dealing with ambiguity and change management
Experience in ISO 26262 functional safety processes
Proven track record in engineering research / analysis / product design in HV/LV DC-AC inverter, DC-DC Converter Power electronics
Experience in Hybrid/ Vehicle electrification
Good communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written
Required experience in new product/ technology development projects and in the field of power electronics
Experience in Validation, Verification and Certification of Auto domain
Understanding of DFSS tools like FMEA, FMECA, Monte Carlo Analysis etc
Experience in pulsed power, capacitor chargers, electromagnetics, microelectronics, and thermal design
Exposure / Hands on experience on Digital Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, RS232, SPI, I2C etc
