The Senior Project Manager position sits within JLL’s Project Development Services Healthcare Construction Team and is tasked with overseeing complex healthcare construction initiatives.
Collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and clients is essential, as the manager will nurture trusted advisory relationships while ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and safety standards.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of healthcare construction initiatives, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules; provide weekly status updates and risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze construction drawings to identify potential issues or hidden costs before contract execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, A/E firms, general contractors, and vendors to drive project success.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, delivering trusted advisory services and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and achieve contract KPIs, aligning project performance with corporate and hospital objectives.
- Manage project funding approvals, track expenditures, forecast budget variances, and conduct regular budget review meetings.
- Oversee procurement, bid evaluation, purchase orders, and change orders while enforcing quality control standards.
- Drive schedule adherence by pressuring A/E teams, verifying contractor schedules, and updating plans at each progress meeting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and JLL contractual requirements.

JLL seeks candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, have at least seven years of healthcare construction project‑management experience, and preferably possess certifications such as LEED, AIA, PE, or PMP; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The role offers an estimated compensation range of $130,000‑$140,000 annually, on‑site locations in Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) matching, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and early wage access.
