Requirements

Cyient Inc. currently has an opening for a Outside Plant (OSP) Field Engineer, responsible for OSP FTTP fiber work orders, BAU work, Pole fielding, HiCap, etc., in New Hampshire area. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, intelligent individuals with previous OSP engineering and field data collection experience. Ideal candidates will have previous experience designing multiple OSP telecom projects simultaneously, including (but not limited to) FTTP (Fiber Distribution), 5G, HiCap and BAU projects. The ideal OSP Engineer will also travel to the field to survey, confirm, and assess current field conditions and meet with the customer as they relate to ongoing OSP designs.

Candidate must have reliable transportation to multiple work locations daily and self-manage their workload and work schedule

• High school diploma/equivalent or higher education
• Should have strong understanding of design and construction of Outside Plant Copper and Fiber Optic Cable (UG, Aerial, Buried) and manhole and conduit design.
• Should have good attitude and ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to communicate daily progress status to all reporting managers & stakeholders.
• Must have field experience in BAU, FTTP, Hi-Cap, etc
• Possess strong professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Should have good understanding of basic computer concepts and technology. Experience with Microsoft Office is required
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.
