This role is a primary managerial position responsible for the success of a specific project, impacting revenue and growth. The manager leads the firm’s resources—including people, processes, and tools—with proficiency and fluency, while teaching, mentoring, and embodying the firm’s values and mission.
The incumbent serves as the primary client relationship manager, oversees execution and delivery of implementation documents through all project phases, and collaborates on design from programming to construction administration. They coordinate internal and external team interactions, ensure appropriate product and material selection, and integrate HKS expertise, sustainable design, and best practices into solutions. The role also leads client presentations, monitors risks, resolves issues with legal and client teams, and conducts site visits and field reviews, with travel as required.

Candidates must hold an accredited professional degree in Architecture, typically have 8+ years of experience, and possess architectural registration (preferred). Required skills include advanced Bluebeam proficiency, intermediate Revit and Navisworks, basic Rhino/Grasshopper/Dynamo, and intermediate Illustrator and InDesign. The candidate should have deep knowledge of sustainability, building systems, codes, QA/QC, strong presentation and visualization abilities, and demonstrated diplomatic, collaborative leadership with excellent communication and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Hold an accredited professional degree in Architecture with 8+ years experience.
- Architectural registration strongly preferred; sustainable design accreditation a plus.
- Advanced Bluebeam skills; intermediate Revit and Navisworks; basic Rhino/Grasshopper/Dynamo.
- Intermediate Illustrator and InDesign; basic Photoshop.
- Advanced knowledge of sustainability, building systems, codes, QA/QC, and constructability.
- Strong presentation, graphic, and visualization abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with advanced organizational skills.
