You will work closely with stakeholders including architects, engineers, facility managers, and IT teams to design and implement solutions involving IoT devices, building automation systems (BAS), energy management platforms, and digital twin technologies. Your ability to bridge the gap between operational needs and digital innovation will be key to transforming traditional facilities into connected, adaptive environments.
- Provide guidance on cybersecurity, data privacy, and system resilience in smart building environments
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to advise clients on future-proof solutions
- Conduct data analysis to optimize building performance, energy use, and occupant comfort
- Ensure interoperability and integration between various building systems and enterprise IT platforms
- Develop smart building strategies aligned with business goals, sustainability targets, and occupant needs
- Specify, evaluate, and oversee implementation of systems including BAS, HVAC controls, lighting, access control, and IoT platforms
- Assess client facilities and infrastructure to identify opportunities for smart technology integration
- Lead or support stakeholder workshops, RFP development, and vendor evaluations

We are seeking a knowledgeable and forward-thinking Smart Building Consultant to lead the design, integration, and optimization of intelligent building systems for our clients. In this role, you will provide strategic advice and technical expertise on implementing smart technologies that enhance building performance, user experience, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
- Certifications such as LEED, WELL AP, PMP, or WiredScore
- Experience with digital twins, AI for buildings, or smart workplace platforms
- Experience in smart building technology, building automation, or digital transformation in the built environment
- Strong understanding of IoT, BMS/BAS, HVAC, lighting controls, and energy management systems
- Excellent communication, project management, and client-facing skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Building Services, Information Technology, or related field
