In this role you will oversee train control, traction power, and communications projects within a working railroad setting, while closely coordinating with clients, contractors, and other partners. You will guide the planning, design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases of transit and rail systems, and manage technical and program interfaces across multiple disciplines. The role also requires establishing management plans that embed Systems Engineering practices and fostering an integrated approach across internal and external projects.
Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field and bring at least ten years of relevant experience. Essential experience includes managing and implementing CBTC and PTC train control projects. Preferred qualifications feature a Professional Engineering license in NY or NJ, fifteen years of design and commissioning expertise, and familiarity with commuter rail, subway, freight, or light‑rail systems.
The position does not provide relocation assistance or sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization. Compensation is location‑based, with an expected salary range of $190,000 to $260,000, and the role follows a hybrid work model.
