Outside Sales Specialist

Description

• Provide engineers and end users a professional level of product promotion/selection, support and follow up to ensure projects are successful and to maximize sales revenue
• Work with the inside sales staff to provide a managerial role for projects and the management thereof
• Expand existing relationships with end users, contractors, and engineers while building lasting relationships with new accounts
• Provide monthly sales reporting including forecasting and insights to current bid activity
• Travel to represented (manufacturer) companies for training on an as-needed basis
• Attend product training seminars and participate in local industry associations and trade shows
• Travel within assigned sales territory
• Work with end-users with a hands-on approach. This may entail assisting with commissioning new equipment

Requirements

• Be self-motivated to set up meetings, product promotion events, and relationship building activities to maintain frequent contact with your customer base
• Ability to travel throughout Western PA and West Virginia
• Valid US Driver License
• Previous water / wastewater / industrial municipal sales experience desired
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and familiar with CRM systems
• Great organizational and relationship skills
• Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written
