The Maintenance Associate position is a full‑time, on‑site role with a Monday‑through‑Friday schedule of 8 am‑4 pm and a rotating on‑call requirement. Responsibilities include completing service requests promptly, performing routine upkeep of elevators, hallways, amenities, grounds, and common areas, and maintaining inventory lists for cleaning and maintenance supplies. The associate will also prepare and paint apartments for turnover, conduct daily property inspections, and assist with snow removal, landscaping, and the preventative‑maintenance program.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in property management or a related maintenance field, and a valid New Jersey driver’s license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi, strong verbal communication, a customer‑service orientation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. Knowledge of property‑management regulations, reliable attendance, and a willingness to work overtime or in various environmental conditions are also required.
