Good understanding of water and plumbing systems and able to complete maintenance and breakdown work on these.
Thames Water Passport – Gain and maintain.
Experience in a wide range of electrical and mechanical plant, working within a critical environment would be an advantage.
Qualified to at least 18th Edition or willing to undertake.
Ability to work under pressure in a highly regulated industry.
Highly effective communicator .
Completed or working towards apprenticeship in electrical / mechanical engineering.
Understanding of basic A/C systems and controls.
Excellent timekeeping.
To hold or work towards Competent Person Status Electrical and Confined Space
Agile and mobile to the needs of both EMCOR UK and the Customer.
Experience of standby power systems including prime movers and UPS.
Experience of the maintenance of LV distribution systems – Preferred.
A understanding of Low Voltage systems including Prime Movers and UPS.
C&G Electrical / Mechanical qualification is required (or the ability to work towards)
Must be willing to undertake company standard internal training workshops and work to both EMCOR and Thames Water standards
Competent Person – Low Voltage and Confined Spaces – Preferred.
Demonstrates organisational skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internal and externally to the contract.
Willing to assist with works outside normal skill set as / if required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, or under own initiative.
Be able to communicate effectively and have flexible approach to work patterns.
