Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs

This is an entry level position. Accounts Payable Specialists assist companies with invoicing and billing.

Processing due invoices for payments
Resolve discrepancies with invoices, purchase orders, and payments
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Ensuring bills paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
