Serve as a product expert for all Leviton products the rep is responsible for
Report activities of the sales territory on a monthly basis to the Regional Sales Manager Call on both new and existing accounts to increase Leviton's sales and brand awareness (greater emphasis on new accounts)
Provide product training to customers (distributors and end users) on a regular basis, especially with new product introductions
Handle all day-to-day sales and operational needs at all distributors with open accounts, including: sales training on all products stocked, inventory management, creation of an annual sales plan, work with a distributor's key sales personnel to grow brand awareness and sales
Responsible for a sales territory in excess of $4 million
Develop an annual sales plan in conjunction with corporate sales and budget goals
Create end user demand for Leviton products
Further develop the technical expertise necessary to sell Leviton products in each Business Unit Handle or delegate administrative and support activities in a timely, accurate manner
Handle day-to-day stock price levels and price quotations

Must have outstanding oral, written and verbal communication/presentation skills as well as negotiation skills

Must hold strong leadership, relationship-building, and relationship management skills as Sales Rep II at Leviton (or comparable)
