Mechanic - Day Shift

Description

• Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for abnormal sounds to diagnose issues
• Dismantle machines using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools, and safety lock‑out devices to access defective parts
• Inspect used parts
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Install new parts

Requirements

Up‑North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic for its day‑shift at the Cottage Grove, MN facility. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and has prior experience working on engines, vehicles, or machines. The position offers a starting pay of $26.00 per hour.
