Reviewing project cost estimates and schedules Coordinating routine progress reporting
Coordinate with client representatives, team members, contractors, subcontractors to consider all project requirements.
Tracking and evaluating PO and subcontract cost reporting and invoicing Participating in reporting on process and cost Develop a suitable Work Breakdown Structure covering the project requirements / scope of works.
Develop, baseline, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for various phases of project execution including but not limited to design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and startup.
Reviewing project cost estimates and project budget tracking for compliance
Accountable for managing the Main Contract commercial issues. To ensure that all work is performed without compromise to quality and in line with the company’s procedures.
Provide the Project Management with accurate monthly cost and progress reports incorporating early warning, forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analyses.
Assisting in change management process with project leaders and contractors
Establish and manage the invoicing procedure and supervise its proper implementation.
Assist Cost Engineers to prepare and update weekly and monthly project cost reports.
To maintain high standard of safety at all times. Advising project team on cost control, planning & Contract compliance Tracking progress & reports against actual cost Preparing any special progress reports, cost reports, and forecasts for team activities
Provides training, mentoring and ongoing project controls guidance to project team members.
Support the development of the Project Controls team members. Identify and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement of project performance and company operations

Excellent understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analyses/trending and what-if scenarios
Advanced knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levelling
Minimum of 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry
(Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience)
Previous experience of working in the Middle East preferred.
Familiar with project controls systems Good Oral and Communication skills Must be able to supervise and delegate
Meaningful and interesting projects Delivered to high profile clients and complex projects in Iraq
Experience of a lead role in Project Controls with the ability to manage a team
Expert in writing reports Commercially and contractually aware and able to manage budgets
