- Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirements
- Operate and maintain Desalination Plant plant to meet contractual KPIs
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct sample collection and laboratory analysis
- Maintain accurate records using CMMS and business systems
- Monitor plant operations via SCADA systems and respond to alarms
- Supervise contractors and manage work permits
- Participate in on-call roster and after-hours plant monitoring

Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technician to join our day team at Sydney's Desalination Plant in Kurnell 2231. This role will provide critical operational and maintenance capabilities to help ensure contractual requirements are met during the plant's operation and maintenance.
- Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Experience in water/wastewater treatment plant or similar processes (desired)
- Relevant high risk work licences (working at heights, confined space, rigging & dogging, forklift, Permit to Work, First Aid all highly regarded)
