As a member of the sales organization, the Sales Representative helps drive White Cap’s business expansion by managing relationships with customers in an assigned territory and utilizing company tools to support client success.
The position requires regular field work and operation of a company or personal vehicle for more than 20% of the work week, with an acceptable motor vehicle record being mandatory. Work is primarily conducted in a comfortable indoor setting with occasional light lifting and less than 10% overnight travel.
Candidates typically hold a BS/BA (or MS/MA) in a related discipline and possess 2–5 years of relevant experience; specific certifications may be required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Miller Heiman’s Strategic Selling, telesales and phone‑sales expertise, and knowledge of White Cap’s product line.
