What you would be doing

- Interface directly with customers and suppliers to support technical issues.
- Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
- Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
- Research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
- Support full program life cycles, including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
- Support and lead systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
- Generate and implement improvements in product design and test throughput.
- Create innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
- Work cross-functionally across the organization, including program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
- Lead teams of design engineers using established design and development process models, such as CMMI and Six Sigma for Design.
- Create, review, and approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).

- Experience with military contracts and environments.
- Knowledge and experience in PCB projects, including design of the board, schematic, and circuit.
- Prior experience with RF components.
- Proficiency in Schematic Capture and CAD.
- Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work on DOD level projects.
- Must be eligible to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
