Snyder & Associates' Gladstone, MO office has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Technician/Designer to create detailed drawings and construction plans for civil, transportation, and utilities engineering projects. The successful candidate will bring a professional and positive attitude, a strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure plan production, be proficient with AutoCAD, and possess an associate's degree in CAD, a drafting certificate, or an equivalent level of CAD training.
Ideal applicants are self‑starters with a curiosity for learning, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to read, understand, and apply design standards. They must be able to work effectively in teams as well as individually, demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills, and consistently deliver their best efforts to support internal clients.
