- Communicate with clients/inspectors/city officials a few times a day to stay updated on critical steps to move the project forward
- Install retail fixtures, cabinetry and millwork set refrigeration cases, and install décor packages using finish carpentry skills
- Create and maintain job schedule and ensure that work is done to quality standards, original plans, and specs, and meets all deadlines
- Guide team of Assistant Carpenters to efficiently install materials while following appropriate and safe procedures
- Start running small projects by overseeing sub-trades and carpenters, and is willing whenever needed to jump in and do the work

- Can perform general physical tasks common to carpentry position (lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, repetitive motion, use of hand tools)
- Previous experience in the ability to layout, plan and execute interior and exterior carpentry a plus
- Computer skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power-point, Word)
- Already know the basics of how to measure, cut, drill, nail, and assemble materials to job specifications. Display refined carpentry skills that can only come from years of experience
- Possession of a valid CA Driver’s License, good driving history and dependable transportation required and clean background check
- 10+ years’ carpentry experience required
- Complete the onboarding program in the first week, which includes basic safety training, equipment training certification, CPR, and if not completed, OSHA training
- Can accommodate extended travel to work sites and overnight stays for up to 2 weeks
- Demonstrate general safety knowledge, wearing appropriate safety equipment, using tools safely and remains accident-free
- Able to read blueprints and knowledgeable in construction methods
- 3+ years’ retail carpentry experience required
- Demonstrated past of working safely and adhering to safety standards
- Intermediate level proficiency in ProCore a plus
