The role involves supporting customers throughout the power system lifecycle, including startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergency response. Candidates will manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger initiatives. They are responsible for generating accurate service reports on work performed, product performance, and warranties, and for recommending improvements to electrical systems. Utilization of digital tools such as laptops, iPads, infrared cameras, Google Glasses, and MS Teams enables remote work.
Applicants must hold at least a High School Diploma or GED, or a trade school certification, combined with a minimum of two years of electrical or mechanical industry experience (or five years if lacking the diploma). A valid driver's license in good standing and residence within 75 miles of Smyrna, GA are required, though active‑duty military personnel are exempt from the geographic restriction. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least one year of field service experience evaluating electrical distribution or control systems are preferred. Experience in testing, troubleshooting, power‑quality measurements, analysis, and protective relays is also essential.
