- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and diagnostics on mission-critical HVAC systems, including chillers, CRAC units, boilers, VFDs, split systems, and BAS interfaces.
- Bend, kneel, crawl, and work in tight or overhead spaces.
- Ensure tool and equipment care and adherence to all field protocols.
- Execute complex service and maintenance procedures with minimal supervision, often in live and sensitive environments such as data centers.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, PPE usage, and company standards for workmanship and jobsite conduct.
- Work at heights using ladders or lifts.
- Coordinate with internal teams and occasionally interface with customers to communicate job status and technical findings.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and submittals to ensure accurate installation and repair of systems.
- Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future service in digital work order systems.
- Support startup and commissioning efforts for new systems when assigned.

- Strong understanding of HVAC theory, refrigerant cycles, heat pumps, electrical components, and air distribution systems.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of commercial HVAC experience, with at least 3 years in mission-critical settings preferred.
- Proficient in working with centrifugal pumps, BAS systems, and system controls.
- Competency in leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, and performance testing.
- Use of full PPE when required, including gloves, respirators, and hearing protection.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Familiarity with critical cooling infrastructure (e.g., chilled water systems, hot aisle/cold aisle containment).
- Comfortable working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
- High School Diploma required, technical school preferred.
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments and consistently deliver quality results.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Lift up to 75 lbs and work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
