Develop GIS procedures, support users, ensure data integrity and reporting.

Tasks
-Ensures end user reporting needs are met and provides ad hoc reporting services as necessary. -Understands business processes and provides guidance for end users. Provides day-to-day client support and conducts diagnostics as necessary to ensure optimal performance. -Meets with customers to understand future business requirements. Coordinates the development of business cases to gain client approval. Communicates with stakeholders to effectively prioritize deliverables. -Provides information management services to insure data integrity. -Coordinates and provides training to end users as necessary. Makes presentations to large and small groups as needed. -Works with end users to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and to optimize the system's value to the business. -Troubleshooting and resolving application and data issues

What You Bring
-Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, SQL, or FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) -Ability to anticipate problems and their underlying causes and resolve them quickly and effectively. -Proactively maintains thorough working knowledge of industry trends and the technology and applications that are applicable to Division and Corporate business processes. -Availability to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. -Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. -Experience working Utility data preferred -Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of job-related work experience in functional area or in lieu of degree, 6-9 years combination of formal education/training and experience. -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks through effective planning, scheduling and coordination. -Ability to create and maintain web services and web applications -Strong understanding of geospatial data models, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis -Demonstrated expertise in use of applications required for the specific role -Experience with spatial databases and data migration -Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration between GIS and enterprise systems -Bachelor’s degree in GIS or Computer Science Strong Knowledge of ESRI Suite Applications
