Key responsibilities include assisting the QA/QC Manager in implementing the project’s Quality Management System and site‑level quality plans, reviewing contractor inspection requests and coordinating inspections according to approved ITPs, and monitoring contractor and third‑party laboratory tests for compliance with sampling and testing plans. The engineer will maintain detailed records of inspections, non‑conformance reports, corrective actions, and other quality documentation required for final handover, ensure timely processing and closure of NCRs, and verify material traceability through delivery inspections and testing certificates. Additional duties involve preparing periodic quality reports, conducting spot checks on workmanship, liaising with contractor QA/QC staff, participating in toolbox talks, and supporting audits as scheduled.

- Monitor contractor and third‑party laboratory tests to ensure compliance with sampling and testing plans.

- Process and follow up on non‑conformance reports to ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Verify material traceability through delivery inspections and testing certificates.

Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field, at least seven years of quality control/assurance experience with three years on major large‑scale infrastructure projects within the region, and strong written and spoken English communication skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and project‑related reporting systems, is also essential.
Preferred skills include knowledge of quality management practices and standards such as ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, and ASTM, as well as the ability to deliver clear presentations and interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
