

Produces construction materials like aggregates, asphalt, and ready-mixed concrete.
The role involves promoting safety in line with MSHA and Vulcan standards, repairing and maintaining plant equipment such as screens, conveyors, wear parts, and water pumps, and performing cutting, grinding, and welding as needed. Daily inspections of equipment and structures are required to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations while maximizing production. Monitoring aggregate crushing, washing, and screening processes helps identify problems and maintain materials compliance. Documentation includes entering service and lubrication reports, and general physical tasks like cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling are also part of the job. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Preferred candidates have experience in the aggregate or construction industry and knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices. The role requires flexibility to work overtime, extended hours, and outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as tolerance for loud noises. Mechanical aptitude with industrial tools and their maintenance is also essential.
