Yard Retail Clerk/Warehouse

Description

• Reviews materials loaded against invoice or requisition; completes and routes paperwork appropriately
• Maintain yard, product and work areas in a neat, clean and safe manner
• Maintain fundamental product knowledge & location throughout the yard
• Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies
• Ensure products and materials are well stocked of inventory at all times
• Primarily to perform customer service tasks filling orders of "walk-in" customers
• Engage and build professional relationships, providing excellent customer service
• Proactively assist customers with loading and unloading of materials purchased

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret orders and invoices
• Experience operating radial arm saw, cut-off saw, chain saw and forklift is preferred
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently
• Must take and pass drug test and consent to a background check
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Experience working in a team atmosphere
• Knowledge of dimension lumber and panel products and other building materials is preferred
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
