Construction Project Management Intern

Description

Interns work on multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and architectural design projects, gaining real‑world experience alongside seasoned professionals. They also participate in a Career Exploration Series, reflections, problem‑solving activities, contests, and end‑of‑summer presentations to showcase their learning.

• Assist technical staff on daily project tasks.
• Review project drawings and plans.
• Collaborate with project managers during planning, design, and construction phases.
• Observe construction sites and document contractor progress.
• Prepare reports and record project activities and data.
• Analyze collected data.
• Organize and maintain project files and records.
• Participation in Career Exploration Series, networking events, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to office and project sites across the state.
• Prior internship or co‑op experience in project or construction management preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Proficiency in English for reading and understanding job‑related communications.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and architectural design projects.
