Lead or independently conduct field surveys, ensuring work is accurate, efficient, and safe within project scope and budget
Perform in-field calculations, construction stakeouts, prepare cut sheets, verifying data accuracy and collaborating with office staff as needed

Supervise and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive team environment
Operate Trimble GPS, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble Data Collectors, GNSS, and other specialized equipment for data collection and construction layout
Prepare clear field notes and daily reports; promptly transfer digital data and photos to office staff
Maintain survey vehicles, instruments, and equipment in accordance with company procedures
Act as site safety leader by reviewing hazards, PPE requirements, and enforcing safety standards

Minimum of three years of experience as a Crew Chief in boundary, topographic, ALTA, TxDOT surveys, and construction
Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble Data Collectors, and GPS equipment
Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to travel daily to project sites in the DFW area
