- Monitor and report on cost and schedule impacts related to procurement activities.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and support project teams with contractual correspondence.
- Maintain accurate registers, documentation, and templates.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective contracting strategies.
- Lead contract formation and post-award contract administration, including variations, claims, payments, and performance management.
- Interface directly with clients, suppliers, and contractors to develop robust commercial packages.
- Support the Supply Chain Manager with subcontracting strategies and planning.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contract documentation.

- Skilled in contract negotiation, execution, and administration.
- A university degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of FIDIC, NZS 3910/3916, NEC 3/4, or similar standard forms of contract.
- Ability to identify commercial risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle procurement – from enquiry to contract award and post-award management.
