Description

The Senior Content & Design Specialist will lead customer‑centric creative strategies for the LBJ, NTE, and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes, blending strategic planning with hands‑on design. The role partners with business leaders, elected officials, external partners, and marketing channel owners to deliver cohesive brand messaging across digital, print, video, and social media. Creative autonomy includes developing graphic designs, infographics, newsletters, and promotional videos to amplify marketing campaigns and corporate initiatives. The specialist also supports public‑affairs collaborations and oversees relationships with external agencies.

• Strategically plan and manage creative content for marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent corporate brand messaging.
• Design, implement, and facilitate marketing and corporate affairs initiatives for LBJ, NTE, and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes.
• Develop a content roadmap for organic social media channels and email campaigns.
• Monitor campaign results, analyze KPIs, and present insights to leadership to continuously optimize content strategy.
• Oversee contractual relationships with marketing suppliers, agencies, and public‑affairs consultants.
• Coordinate with Public Affairs to amplify media plans and events with key influencers and transportation‑industry stakeholders.
• Create promotional materials for digital channels, website, print collateral, video promos, infographics, and newsletters using advanced graphic design, videography, and photography skills.
• Support marketing and communication efforts with third‑party stakeholders such as NTTA, TxDOT, and NCTCOG.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of creative design, digital marketing, and content management experience.
• Prior agency experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in graphic design, videography, and photography tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere, Illustrator/Creative Suite).
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge‑sharing abilities.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, maintain detail‑orientation, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with social media publishing tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) is a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and project‑management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) is a plus.
