- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project management teams for clarifications and technical inputs.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company policies, client requirements, and local regulations.
- Obtain and review quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates for civil and structural works.
- Timely submission of tenders and quotations.
- Develop and maintain a cost database for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Participate in tender review meetings and provide input for value engineering and cost optimization.
- Study and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare cost comparisons, rate analyses, and tender summaries for management review.
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.
- Monitor project costs during execution and support with post-tender analysis and budget revisions.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as AutoCAD, Excel (advanced), Candy, CostX, or Primavera (as applicable).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with local market rates, suppliers, and subcontractor networks.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Accuracy of cost estimates vs. actual project cost.
- 3–8 years of experience in cost estimation and tendering for civil/infrastructure/building projects.
- Quality and completeness of BOQs and supporting documentation.
